These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of any products from PC Crate. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
PC Crate provides a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee and the following warranties (this policy does not include shipping, handling, rush service fees, or software that has been opened). These warranties are extended to the original purchaser only.
PC Crate offers a 2-year parts warranty.
The 2-year parts warranty covers manufacturer defects in the components included in the original purchase starting from the date of the invoice. In the case of a defective part, PC Crate will replace the component with new or refurbished parts at the selection of PC Crate with no charge to you.
Any additional purchases or upgrades will not extend this warranty.
These warranties do not cover damage that occurs through events outside of PC Crates control (i.e. flood, fire, earthquake, theft). User preformed maintenance, upgrades, or repairs do not void your warranty unless they directly result in the damage or malfunction of any components. Additionally, these warranties do not cover damage that occurs through accidents, misuse, or negligence. These warranties do not cover damage to any components or anything that was not purchased directly from PC Crate and included in the original invoice. These warranties do not cover any loss of data caused by any items sold by PC Crate.
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must email firstname.lastname@example.org with an order number, name, and address. A member of the PC Crate team will then respond with information on how to redeem your warranty. All serial numbers on the components being warrantied must match those in the original purchase.
PC Crate Builder's Insurance
You must follow the instructions as they are written. PC Crate Builder's Insurance extends to damage and does not cover loss or theft, willful damage, or damage occurring through gross misuse of the item(s). Since the coverage is intended for accidental damage incurred during the build process, this protection is intended to protect components on an individual basis; PC Crate will not replace an entire build due to accidental damage. This coverage supplements a manufacturer's warranty plan and does not replace it. PC Crate Builder's Insurance extends 30 days from the time of the purchase.
We have a 30-day money back guarantee, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping unless your item was defective as confirmed by a PC Crate service representative. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging (unless the part is found to be defective). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll assign you an RMA number, send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. This allows us to better evaluate the issue and make it right.
Any damages incurred due to parts provided by the customer (and therefore not purchased through buildpccrate.com) will not be covered by PC Crate.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or any software that has been removed from its original packaging.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
